Since old times the Neringa villages were know as fishermen’s settlements.
The life of local residents is closely related to the Curonian Lagoon and the Baltic Sea. Such special living conditions among sand and water determined a distinctive culture, activities of Neringa residents as well as architecture of settlements. The wonderful nature of the Curonian Spit with pine forests, dunes and beaches; small, orderly and authentic fishermen settlements of Neringa; still upheld fishing traditions and undisturbed peace and beauty have attracted more and more visitors to this area.
We uphold our ancestors’ fishing traditions, offering you to go fishing together with the old fishermen of Neringa, to try delicious fishermen’s dishes, to go sailing on the Curonian Lagoon and to visit the most beautiful sites.
